Take something old and make it new and whimsical using a variety of multimedia. Feel free to visit some thrift stores to find an old painting that you would like to recreate. If you would like SASC to shop for you, add an extra $5 to your total. Register here.

Complete a painting step by step. You will learn a bit about the process while painting, with tips on composition, color use, and the elements and principles of art as you go through each step. Materials and Linda’s famous chocolate chip cookies provided. Register here.

Start your week off right with this gentle stretching class. Stretches can be done sitting or standing in this class. Amy will help you focus on your breath, while leading you through stretches to leave you feeling limber and relaxed. We encourage you to go barefoot in the class (if comfortable) and bring a yoga mat to stand on. SASC has some mats you may borrow if needed. All fitness levels are welcome to join this class. Hybrid. Segments of Maple Road, from Michigan Ave. to Maple Oaks Ct. and Old Creek drive from Michigan Ave. to Wexford Commons, will be closed through the end of 2023.  The project will include major sewer work, necessary water main upgrades, and some non-motorized improvements. Click here to find detailed City of Saline, Maple Rd. closure information. 


As you can see, a portion of Maple Road will be inaccessible through December of 2023. However, you can still reach the Library / SASC entrance off of Maple if you access Maple Road off Woodland Drive. You can also utilize Ann Arbor Saline Road and come down Thibault, by Liberty School, to reach SASC.

New Trip Offering: Holland's Tulip Festival

                 SAS Bond As you may be aware, SASC was part of the Saline Area Schools (SAS) Bond in Fall of 2022, which promised 4.48 millions dollars for an SASC remodel and expansion. We will have a new dedicated entrance, staff offices, and more based on your feedback. SASC Weekly Updates: Ballet Chelsea's Cinderella Preview

Please contact Andrea, lewisa@salineschools org, if you are interested in helping out this spring and summer in our gardens in the front and back of our building. This includes some weeding, trimming, and watering. In order to utilize our raised garden beds, we will need several volunteers willing to help out a few days a week. Thank you for considering sharing your time and talents with us. SASC will be closed Friday, March 29 in observance of Good Friday. Students have been learning how to make pysanky eggs.
