As you may be aware, SASC was part of the Saline Area Schools (SAS) Bond in Fall of 2022, which promised 4.48 millions dollars for an SASC remodel and expansion. We will have a new dedicated entrance, staff offices, and more based on your feedback. Please take a few minutes to take this survey one time by Friday, April 5. The information you provide is appreciated and will assist us in making some design decisions for SASC, along with program development.

Join us for this highly anticipated trip to Holland, MI, to see the tulips in bloom! We'll take a luxury motorcoach and stop at the Evergreen Commons, where we'll experience a Dutch inspired lunch, dessert and a Dutch Klopen Dance, which features the dancers wearing wooden shoes known as klompen. You'll also get a chance to see their authentic replica Dutch Costumes. Then, we'll head to the Windmill Island Gardens, a 36-acre botanical park with 140,000+ tulips and the only authentic, working Dutch windmill in the US. The trip includes lunch and admission to the venue. SASC Max Spaces: 15. Deadline: Apr 12 or until full. Mon, May 6, 8:15am-6pm, $115/$120. Trips are in conjunction with Pittsfield Senior Center, which will be a stop on our route each way. Register at the front desk or online.

Come for a brief update about the center from Nancy Cowan, SASC Director, Comm. Ed Director (schools), and City of Saline Rep. Then enjoy lunch and socializing with friends, the highlight of each social. Lunch will be two of the Souper Bowl Competition winner: Cheeseburger Bliss or Cheesy Potato soup, salad, roll, and dessert. If space remains after the deadline on Apr 12, a $2 late fee will be added. Enjoy a reading from SAS-C Writers’ newest journal Kaleidoscope.
